When you begin to build a business, firstly , you need to make sure that you understand the business. Building a good strong business is more of a marathon than it’s a run. You do not grow a business overnight and you can be the next Richard Branson by Monday morning. It takes difficult work to attain internet marketing success.
It takes effort, but the rewards are worthwhile. You need to expand a business for that can be done the work once but get paid for good. That’s truly what it is all about.
You need to make sure that you give the seeds of your business time to begin to grow. You don’t want to plant them and then go dig them up in a week or so and wonder where that fruit is.
You’ve got to remember too , if you have something that’s in momentum, like a big ship, it requires a while for that ship to modify direction. In your business, business might move a touch slowly. To get all of the correct elements lined up in business process automation takes time. When you get everything all set up, you will be astonished by how quickly that success comes. But like they are saying, success overnight takes a good a decade to get there. It’s about lining all of the elements up and then bang, you flick that light switch and then it just goes absolutely mental.
You’ve probably spent all of this time heading in one specific direction, putting all of the right energy in. It may take some time to spin things around and get you pointing in a different direction. So be sure you give yourself that time and do not be too tough on yourself.
It is important to apply automation to the back end of our business. On my internet site, Podcast Interviews, I interviewed two fellows, Jim Fleck who is an Oldschool direct mail guy and Richard Schefren who is the guru’s guru when referring to web marketers. Both, they hadn’t heard each other’s interview but they both touched on this thing I found quite engaging.
They said what most business owners do, they’ll spend a lot of time attempting to build out their back end. They’ll try and add a new release line, they’ll try and keep adding, adding. What you want to try to do, you build out that back end, get it as automated as practical and then you begin to focus on your front end.
So once you’ve built out that back end, using your autoresponders and making sure the sequence is right and you get the bonding and your customers get introduced to all the different products and services and then the delivery of those services as well are all automated, once that all happens then you attention desires to focus on a new area.
Shift focus and you’ll begin to focus on the front end promoting and integrate corporate video production. It is actually about how can I drive as many leads into that funnel as feasible?
In our business we have our S.E.O free report to reach internet marketing success. Underneath that we have got four different products. We have the S.E.O course, we have the outsource course, we’ve got the web videos and we have the little biz. Underneath that we have the workshops, we’ve got the Masterminds, we have the training and then underneath that we’ve got the services. That might look a little counter intuitive but a large amount of effort goes into this front end and actually the services are not where we’re focusing as much any longer now. So SEO, Aurticle distribution Process ( ADP ), we’ve got publicity releases as a service, we have got web video. Basically lots of these services are just ‘done for you’ type services.
Now that we’ve built out that, that is really automated. As a part of this as well we’ve got our auto-responder sequence. So you’ve got your auto responder where they are basically getting a sequence of mails during 3 months. These mails point them to different parts of the site. So it could be the About Us page, with a sprinkle of bonding first, then after that, then it begins to point to the products and services and that kind of thing. So it’s completely automated, I have automated my back end.
We add in a new component too. I built it with a shopper cart that enables me to have this all in the one shopper cart so affiliates can now start to promote my products. We set it up in a way now where we offer commission. Some of these products like the SEO course sells for roughly $1400 for The S.E.O Methodology and I split that 60:40 with my affiliates. If someone else goes out and sells this S.E.O course then they will get 40% of that sale cost.
Other affiliates , people who need to market my product will begin promoting that product. That is an alternative way that we generate some leads and reach internet marketing success. That is very much an automated back end.
